Gordon Ramsay says Lily Allen is beautiful but Girls Aloud need to eat

It all started when Cheryl Cole from Girls Aloud branded Lily Allen a "chick with a d***". Apparently that comment caused Lily to question her looks and weight. Though it didn’t take long for Lily to come back with a comment about Cheryl's apparent lack of singing talent and the fact that she married a footballer.

Now, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has added his two cents worth into the debate, with his comments about Lily. "She's beautiful isn't she?," he said. "She has a great figure and obviously eats properly. There's none of that vegetarian s*** with her."

At the Baftas, he told the Daily Mail: "Girls Aloud really need to eat; Cheryl came onto the show and she is so skinny, it's a f****** disgrace. They need to stop worrying about having to be disgustingly skinny and start looking like real women, like Lily Allen."

Hmmm... public tiffs are never pretty huh?

I'm really confused about all this. Did anyone actually see the F Word the other night when Cheryl Tweedy (or Cole, whatever) was on? It was Gordon Ramsey who made the 'chick with a dick' comment about Lily Allen, not Cheryl! She actually looked at the camera and said, 'I did not say that, it was him'. Hmm.

Gordon Ramsay invited two members of Girls Aloud onto his show 'The F Word'. He commented that the girls had had a lot of spats with other celebrities, and proceeded to reel off quotes, for them to guess who said what.

Lily Allen said of Cheryl, "I don’t want to look like Cheryl Tweedy! It's tongue in cheek, it’s meant to be ironic.”

“I don’t have anything against her as a human being but I think the portrayal of her being the right thing for kids to look up to is wrong.

“It was a joke that not many people got. Of course nobody really wants to look like Cheryl, they just think they do.”"

Cheryl correctly guessed it was Lily Allen who had made the comment.

This was in response to Cheryl commenting on the dedicated B Side, "“I’m really flattered Lily’s written a track about me. But I don’t know why she sings about wanting to be as pretty as me as she looks stunning. I’d like to look like her. It’s about time we had a really cool British girl out there on the music scene.”"

Gordon Ramsay then asked Cheryl what she thought of Lily. She asked him to say what he thought of her first. Gordon said he thought Lily Allen was a "chick with a dick", then asked Cheryl what she thought.

Cheryl repeated what he said, just to make it clear she disliked her too (she said it in a jokey tone) - but immediately said "Oh no, don't put that in [the show], it was you who said that"

So for Gordon Ramsay to now say he thinks Lily Allen is "beautiful" with a "great figure" is highly two-faced. He's gone from saying she's a "chick with a dick" to "she's a real woman". Make up your mind, Ramsay!

And his attitude towards vegetarians is ridiculous.

This whole argument is ridiculous, and it was Lily Allen who provoked it in the first place. And now she's acting like a victim? Completely childish. Lily Allen shouldn't dish it out if she cannot take it.
