Veteran Australian designer, Lisa Ho, was worried her gamble of 'trying something different', namely simple easy-to-wear styles, wouldn't pay off. But her Australian Fashion Week spring summer 2008 collection was relaxed and carefree, with flowing shapes and fabrics. Surprisingly she didn’t feature as many maxi dresses as usual. Instead there were metallic shifts that filmed around the body, full dresses, and puffed sleeves with a difference. Sticking with bright electric colours from violet, tangerine and yellow, Lisa Ho’s carefully constructed collection was wearable and almost Burberry Prorsum's spring summer 2007 like towards the end.

The show wasn’t ground breaking, but it was fresh and 100% wearable.
