What's this? A TV show created by Darren Star, featuring four well-dressed, successful friends living and loving in Manhattan? Nope, it's not Sex & The City 2, but it might as well be. Bonnie Somerville, Lucy Liu, Miranda Otto and Frances O'Connor are shown here filming the pilot for Cashmere Mafia, the glossy ABC show that's set to pick up where Carrie and the girls left off. Ok, it's not really fashion news, but just look at those coats, bags and shoes! It definitely looks like this'll be the new show to window shop from. Ugly who?! I was never into SATC and Im not much of a fan of the styling [all seemed very contrived and conscious] I dont know if Im wrong in assuming this but I feel that the writers of this blog and a large proportion of its readers are more a fan of this style of clothing than say the laid back look of the likes of Lou Doillon, Kate Moss, Charlotte Gainbourg etc. I dont understand the love for prom dresses and shiny coats...I feel left out sometimes :p :D

So I'll give this show a miss then. based on that photo it just looks like more of the same. but hey in tv world, if a formula works run with it forever...
