Lily Allen for New Look unveiled - Tell us what you think!

lilylovesnewlook.jpgLily Allen's new collection 'Lily Loves' for New Look is almost ready to hit the shelves and The Times has the first pics from the celebrity range. The British singing sensation known for her prom dress and sneakers look has joined forces with the high-street chain to design a range of clothing, shoes and accessories. Don't expect anything like Kate Moss for Topshop with this range, Allen has put together ruffled party frocks, coloured sneakers, shift dresses and peep-toe heels. A rather strange combination but it is Lily Allen we're talking about here. If you're busting to know more then visit the Lily Loves website and sign up for your chance to win tickets to the launch party. Oh and if you have time, take a look at The Times article where Allen turns down a free Gucci bag because it reminds her of Sarah Harding.

The Lily Loves range for New Look launches next month.

I saw some of this collection yesterday. Hideous as I imagined. Chav-chic? no thanks.

I was a bit disappointed by what I saw, I love the dresses that Lily wears on stage, but was hoping for something a bit more wearable. Too many ruffles for my liking, and I really hate the graffiti print dress!

What is up with the English and "chavs" and "poshes"? In the United States, many people think Lily Allen's clothing is a cute and original interpretation of urban streetwear. We don't really separate people into "chavs" and "poshes".

Well, Ada, i reckon you can easily translate chav as white trash. No culture is short on stereotypes, they just name them differently.
And, moving to what matters: the collection is hideous. Lily's poor repertoire transcended music.

You're not helping yourselves by using bad English. You're writing like my brother did in first grade when he first started sounding out words.
