She already has her own line of footwear, handbags and cosmetics and soon Jessica Simpson will be adding to her retail empire her own range of sunglasses, swimwear and lingerie. But where does it all end? At every turn another celebrity product range appears before our very eyes and before we know it there will be nothing left for them to smack their face or brand to. On the other hand, while their star is still shining there is an opportunity to make money and with every other starlet sticking their fingers in numerous pies what's to stop the future Mrs Mayer from doing the same? Although if her range of footwear is anything to go by then I think I'll reserve my comments on the rest of her stuff. [WWD]
