CQ reviews The Cheap Date Guide to Style

Kira Jolliffe and Bay Garnett primarily known for their charity shop inspired Cheap Date fanzine, have brought out a great new book called The Cheap Date Guide to Style which Kim and Gemma reviewed alongside Gisele Scanlon's The Goddess Guide and Dita Von Teese's Burlesque and the Art of the Teese.

The Cheap Date Guide to Style is a fantastic guide to finding your own style and encourages your to veer off the high street and into the charity shops, jumble sales and friend's wardrobes. Naturally I loved this book, but it's not just for the kooky vintage obsessed; as Gemma's post proved yesterday being comfortable with your own look is far more important than following fashion. It's a very inspirational read with quotes from stylish women past and present including Mischa Barton, Anita Pallenberg, Erin O'Connor and Beth Ditto that is sure to have you looking at your wardrobe in a new light.
