I just love this multi-colored printed cotton camisole top with gold trim by By Malene Birger. The pretty butterfly print keeps the top fresh and it’s not too expensive at £76.60. Thus creating a perfect spring pairing with denim or a pencil skirt and leather sandals.
Half the appeal for me is that the top is by a Danish designer though...
I have a thing for Scandinavian designers at the moment - I recently bought a Pour dress and was just talking about Danish brand, Soaked in Luxury, the other day. But of course I can keep up to day with By Malene Birger a lot easier via Net-A-Porter. With her inspiration is classic films from the 50s and 60s, her designs are always pretty and ladylike. After leaving Day Birger et Mikkelsen to try things on her own, she’s done wonderfully well and definitely a Scandianvian brand to keep an eye on.
