Are you willing to camp out for Kate Moss?

campingkate.jpgIt may seem like a ridiculous notion but after witnessing the bloodbath (okay, perhaps a slight exaggeration) that was the Primark Oxford Street store opening I'm sure nothing will surprise me at next week's Kate Moss for Topshop launch. We'll be there of course with our war-paint on (kidding!) as we join the masses on what is set to be the biggest event on the London fashion calender, heck the world's fashion calendar! And so we want to know... will you be camping out for Kate? Are you and your besties planning to arrive at stupid o'clock or pull an all-nighter? We want to know who would like to be a roving reporter for Catwalk Queen and share their experiences of the day with the best blog on the planet - that would be us!

So.. if you're looking for your five minutes of Kate Moss fame then simply email kim@shinymedia.com and tell us your plan of attack.

^ all the "copy kate" stuff is tedious. Highstreet stores copy designs all the time. Catwalk Queen are forever blogging about ASOS which is a site built on imitating celebrity clothes, am I right?

Many of the items Kate and Topshop have supposedly copied are vintage and probably one of a kind so there is little chance we could ever get our hands on those items we see her in and fall in love with. The floral dress that she has supposedly copied exactly was actually altered by Kate a couple of years ago [it was much longer and floaty] and a lot of the clothes only have a passing resemblance to other existing designs. people are making something out of nothing.

kates opened up her wardrobe for people that like her clothes. that was the whole point, its what her fans want.

as for camping out. no I wouldnt even consider it. The collection is available in 200 stores nationwide and online so its unlikely I'd miss out on the pieces I really want. I'll probably take a trip into town on the Tuesday but if its too busy I think I'll turn around and come back home...me and fiesty shoppers are a no-no! Hopefully because its a weekday most people will be at work/school/uni.
