I love the tunic trend, I really do. Particularly on fat days, when a long, loose top or dress hides a multitude of sins. However, I do fear that some shops have forgotten entirely that women have waists, and some of us like to play up what God gave us, rather than hiding it under reams of fabric which - until recent seasons - was kept purely for the pregnant. So to balance things out, here are a couple of dresses I love that actually show off a slinky waist or a great pair of boobs.
First is Free People's cotton voile 'Lacey' dress (£65 from Urban Outfitters) for a daytime, girly look. Or go all-out with Bebe's super-sexy pleated silk dress ($139). I see it with black opaque tights and a chunky belt for a Christopher Kane-inspired look.
