Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Bitten' clothing range

sjpbitten.JPG UPDATE: Sarah Jessica Parker's Bitten range appears on the Oprah Winfrey Show, click here to read more!

Sarah Jessica Parker's new fashion line is officially going to be called 'Bitten', after she was "bitten by the Steve & Barry’s bug after walking into a Steve & Barry’s store for the first time.” I've not heard of Steve and Barry's (enlighten me kind US CQers!) but they've won Hot Retailer of the year, and Jessica Parker's statement about the collection convinced me: “Women should be able to wear great clothes and not lie in bed at night feeling guilty about how much money they’ve spent." The kooky-dressed star went on: "High quality, luxurious clothes do not need to cost as much as we’ve been led to think.” See after the jump to find out what will be in the collection.

Sarah Jessica Parker to Launch Clothing Line l Sex And The City - The Movie?

Products will include a full range of accessories and footwear (yay!) as well as basic black cotton dresses, tees, denim and swimwear and will be available from June. I'm genuinely intrigued to see what the collection will look like, as every item will be priced at an unbelievable $19.98 or less.

The only Steve and Barry's I've been in sold college tees and sweats. I really couldn't tell you what she's talking about.

Posted by: Jael | March 14, 2007 2:32 PM

Wow, really? I'm with Jael -- the only Steve and Barry's I know about is a big college sweatshirt/t-shirt store, as in they have shelves and shelves of t-shirts with either college names/logos on or stupid jokey stuff. I can say that never but never have I been impressed by one (and I don't think it's just because they don't carry my school!).

...Steve & Barry's? Seriously? Looking at their website, it looks like they do sell clothes - in the Abercrombie & Fitch mold - but the ones I've been in have been notable for cheap university sweats. All of my family's University of Wisconsin gear came from there.

19.98 or less! OMG i love her more than ever- that is if i can get my hands on these products!!

Steve & Barry's has an entire line of cute clothes at ridiculously low prices. I found out about them after hearing about the Starbury line, which I think is nothing short of revolutionary - NBA-quality sneakers for $14.98 so that practically any kid who wants them can have them.

I went to Steve & Barry's today and got 2 pairs of sneakers, 2 cute tees with appliques, and 3 hair accessories for $31.15. Trust me, they have more than college tshirts.

I truly the clothes that I saw on Oprah. It was an answer to my prayer because I am a widow with two sons named Aaron and Caleb. My son Aaron had an operation after the death of my husband that made me have to quit work due to frequent hospital visits. So I only recieve the SSI and I don't rely on my congregation to clothe me so I needed a way to get affordable clothes. Where can I find them in Ft. Washington, Maryland?

God Bless You,

Saw the Sarah Jessica Parker line on Oprah and loved the clothes. I was wondering if there would be a chance of this line being sold in Canada especially on the east coast of Canada in Nova Scotia.

Posted by: Kathy Head | May 20, 2007 9:14 PM

I saw the line and was wondering if they would be catering to the needs of tall women as well? I usually have difficulty getting my 36: inseam pants and 24" sleeves that I always have to pay full price for clothing which really takes out a big bite of my pocket.

I went shopping on Thursday, 6/7/07, the Bitten Launch @ Steve & Barry's... I spent about $150.00.... But I got... a necklace, a wallet, 2 purses, 3 T'shirts, a zip up jacket, bootleg jeans, Khaki slacks, 2 pairs of capri's, Some of her slacks run larger, so you have to try on at least 1 to 2 sizes smaller than your size. the t-shirts have a great cut at the bottom... the purses are adorable... the jewlry is so stylish... But we're talking about Ms. SJP....she has great taste... I knew her clothes line would be adorable. thanks Sarah J.

I have to say her things are very nice and good quilty. I been in to get a few items three days in a row. It fits true to size, her jeans are the best. I alway spent $150 or more on jeans, but i have these are by far the best fitting jeans i own. keep up the great work SJP. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FALL COLLECTON.

Oh my god! I'm watching Oprah right now, and I'm totally in love with the Bitten-clothingline. I really love it!
Just a teeny tiny problem... I live in the Netherlands! (That's also why I'm watching that old show right now...)
There's not a chance it'll hit the stores in the Netherlands, but if anyone knows where to order these clothes online, please let me know! =)

P.S. Sorry for my horrible English...

I love SJP's clothes, so much so that I wish I could open my own shop and sell her clothing exclusively. I think I would become a millionaire. And I would still buy SJP's clothes. They are truly a great gift to the American woman's closet AND wardrobe!!

Dear Sara Jessica Parker,
I love the t-shirt that you made with the three birds flying and the tree on the back how can I order more? Will there be a store in Eugene? Will there be access to order online or through a catalog?
You have given me inspiration to put my own paintings and artwork on t-shirts!
Thank you!
Love,
Marlika
