NEXT Promises "New Ranges and Better Clothes"
NEXT have recorded another disappointing year forcing a pledge to revitalise their brand and clothing range in a bid to entice customers back. An increase in advertising spenditure will form part of NEXT's plan to "recapture some of the magic and excitement" of the NEXT brand. £10m will be pumped into advertising this year, a massive boost from £1.5m spent last year. NEXT's chief executive Simon Wolfson promised new ranges and better quality of stock. "When new items arrive in our shops, the first thing the staff should think is not 'that will sell', but 'I want that!" he said. Well put.
