Forever 21 jump on the Chloe-alike bandwagon

chloeish.jpgI'm not sure what it was about the wallpaper-esque black and white Chloe dress from 2005 that inspired so many homages this year, but when I wrote about the trend a few weeks back, it was hard to whittle down the options to just six varied alternatives.

Now Forever 21 have got in on the act with their take on the look we loved on Kate Bosworth. By swapping the white for this season's yellow they've updated the trend for Spring, and whacking on a very affordable $32.80 price tag definitely helps as well. Just don't expect to wear it too many times before it begins to fall apart. We all know the quality of a $30 dress leaves a lot to be desired!

EDIT: Thanks to Shopdiary for pointing out that in fact Diane Von Furstenberg got in there first with the yellow. Oops. I swear, you look away for a second...

I've bought some clothes there that are surprisingly well-made and have held up through the years.
