Coco Ribbon launch 'Neutral' scheme

cocoribbonneutral.JPGCoco Ribbon are launching a new enterprise next month, Coco Ribbon Neutral (love the logo!) where customers can bring in their unwanted (pristine) designer items in exchange for Coco Ribbon pounds. Founders Alison Chow and Sophie Oliver said they came up with the idea themselves after thinking about the state of the environment and how things need to change. Alison said: "We came up with this fun and rewarding way for people to shop and recycle at the same time. As a company, our philosophy is indulgent, but we also feel that everyone - no matter what area of life they work in - needs to think of different ways to do their bit for the environment. Whether it is recycling at home, in the office and just doing a small bit, the fashion industry needs to follow too." When you hand over your designer togs Coco Ribbon they will give you 50% of it's value to spend in the store, but they're not accepting trousers or jeans. I'm pretty sure anything I handed over wouldn't even be enough to get me one of their butterfly garlands!
