Beyonce's Clothing Range Aimed At "Normal Women"

The-House-Of-Dereon3.jpgR&B star come fashion designer Beyonce Knowles, believes that her clothing range House of Dereon should be a hit due to it’s sizing for normal women. She claims: “no size zero, only size hero… my fans will love it”. Has Miss Knowles forgotten about a certain interview that left her red-faced after questions were asked on poor sizing issues? Or about the hate mail she’s received from animal rights activists due to her label's use of fur? Something tells me that Beyonce should stick to what she does best... singing.

I think as a young artist, Beyonce' is doing nothing no more than any other star has done. Why is there a problem with her wearing furs? Do you know how many artists and stars are wearing furs? Is it because she is Beyonce'? People, wake up and let the girl succeed. She has worked very hard to get where she is, and as always, you're going to have people who will try to put you down. She has alot of talent and I am happy for her. People are hating the fact that she is becoming very successful regardless of what has been said about her. She is a beautiful girl and I wish her all the best.

Stars in the limelight have a duty not to advocate certain environmentally unfriendly behaviours. It is my view that in order for society to become less self-centred and more concerned about the environment in which it lives, those in the limelight should take some responsiblity in making people more environmentally aware and friendly. I agree with the article. Maybe B should stick to simple things and wait until she's a bit older to venture into more sophisticated areas. I am actually very surprised there is real fur in the range. As such a sucessful, revered and respected woman she should be ashamed.

It's interesting to see how the author perceives my article to be about "animal rights". What I was rather trying to emphasise was the fact that animals, just like human beings, have the right to live and shouldn't be used for our own 'comforts' - especially when it comes to fashion accessories.Thank you for linking to my article and keep up the good work.

There is nothing bad with wearing furs - they are traditional, historical clothes and accessories in countries with cold climate. All those animal activists need more meats and healthy animal fats in their diet - it helps with being more tolerant and also calms nerves.

we all know that the use of fur has been in existence for long, but nobody has ever complained until now, why are some unsuccesful-jealous-progress haters complaining for,God created animals and every other thing for the satisfaction of men. Moreover, the animals will definitely grow back their fur.So what is the fuss about?
