Miss Charlotte Church is getting married next month, because according to a source, "Charlotte is putting on weight and she's anxious to have the wedding before she starts getting too big." Well, we can all assume that she is going to get her dress designed especially for her by someone like Vera Wang or an only-money-can-buy wedding dress maker. But we’d like to give Charlotte some suggestions too.

The most obvious being to stick to empire line dresses, like fellow Welsh starlet Catherine Zeta Jones the year she won her Oscar. They emphasise the bust while the rest of the dress just flows over a baby bump. We’ve a picked a few dresses from BlueFly that any pregnant wife to be could consider wearing for their big day.

You’ll definitely feel like a princess on your special day, with the delicate beading and romantic train, this dress has a lovely antique feel to it.

2. A.B.S. ivory pleated detail asymmetrical gown, $219.99
Look glamorous without spending bucket loads with this A.B.S gown. The crisscross pleated bust detail and asymmetric wrap skirt is class without giving you too much fru fru.

3. A.B.S. ivory satin rhinestone strap dress, $261.00
If you want to hide a slight belly on your special day this could be the dress for you. With all the detail around the neckline – the pleated bust and rhinestone studded straps – no one will notice you have a little bit extra around your waist line.

4. Nicole Miller white beaded lace dress with train, $708.00
You don’t have to compromise with this beautiful Nicole Miller dress – it comes with a train and has beautiful beading detail. Almost makes me wish I had an occasion to wear this dress to! (Maybe I’ll have to throw a ‘white Christmas in July’ ball. After all, it’s a very good idea to plan a party around what you want to wear.)
