Viktor & Rolf’s aim for their Autumn/Winter 2007 in Paris yesterday was to “to turn every model into a fashion show of her own.” And boy did they pull it off. Much to the detriment of the models who had to walk down a catwalk with metal cages rigged with spotlights resting on their shoulders and speakers playing a new tune for each outfit.
It was all because the boys wanted to “To turn the fashion show into a look and to turn the clothes into a show. And really to get back to like let's say the core being of who we are and who we feel we are. So it felt like a self-portrait.”
