Shiny secrets - Fashion Week, frocks and fetish shoes...
We've hardly had time to sit down with London Fashion Week taking up all our time, but we managed to sneak in some fashion chat in between shows. Here's what's been on the minds of the Catwalk Queens over the last few days...
* Oscar Predictions. With designers like Zac Posen (left) sending glam frocks down the runway, it's a race to see which celebs will snap up which red carpet-worthy gown.
* Christopher Kane vs Marios Schwab. Anyone notice that Kane's new catwalk collection looked a bit like Schwab's Alaia-esque creations for Topshop?!
* Charity shops. Apparently, the best ones are in the worst areas. So how come Isabelle has loads of amazing finds and I never find ANYTHING?
* The Frock Me vintage fashion fair. It's where we'll be on Sunday, spending money we don't have!
* Natacha Marro shoes. Fashion meets fetish...completely fantastic!
* Fruity jewellery at Urban Outfitters. Sweet and stylish or naff and tacky? We can't decide, but we kind of want a strawberry pendant while we make up our minds.
* The Shiny Awards. Next week we'll be giving out gongs to the best in gadgets and technology. The fashion team had their say in who should win...stay tuned to find out what fashion phones and girly gadgets we thought were the best of 2006 / 07.
* Hot Fuzz. Out this week. Absolutely nothing to do with fashion, but who cares?
