Paul Smith wins lifetime acheivement award

paulface.JPG"Hasn't he already won that?" was the first thing I thought when I found out he'd been given a lifetime achievement award by the Royal Institute of British Architects, awarded for his outstanding contribution to art and design. Smith was one of ten people to be awarded an honorary fellowship, other fellows included Ken Livingstone, mayor of London, and Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs presenter and architecture enthusiast. Smith told Vogue: ”Receiving the honorary fellowship is a real honour. I am both shocked and delighted because the RIBA is an association that I really admire.”
