It’s Brit pop chic for high street. Pop singer, Lily Allen, is designing a capsule collection for high street retailer New Look. Known for her quirky dress sense that mixes new and vintage pieces together with sneakers and gold jewelery.
"She's an absolute dress-aholic," said Sarah Walter, head of fashion communications at British high street retailer New Look. "When she was breaking last summer, we thought she was very different, and everyone was picking up on her style, particularly the big prom dresses.”
So aptly, the ‘Lily Loves’ range will feature six dresses, two pairs of shoes and some brightly colored accessories. The collection is due to hit stores in May 2007.
