Internet clothing sales boom
Last week we found out that internet sales have reached the one billion pound mark. Another recent statistic stated that over the last five years sales have increased by a whopping 461 percent! Never has this been more evident than around Christmas, when it was sales a-go-go to try to lure consumers back into shops. Mintel senior retail analyst Neil Mason said that 2006 was a defining year for the online fashion market, with many retailers putting their entire range online. like where shopping is concerned the internet is the place to be. I wouldn't be surprised if this coincides with a dramatic downturn in worker productivity across the UK as every office bound female skives away the hours on the web...
