When the lovely and talented Alber Elbaz (left) was awarded his Legion d'Honneur a few weeks ago he said: "It takes longer to get heard when you whisper, but at least a whisper goes to the heart". What a lovely idea, and testament to Ebaz's working methods -I think I will make that my motto of the year. Equally lovely is Duro Olowu who, talking about the size zero "debate" said: "If a woman can't look good in something that's a size 8 or a size 14 then it's the garment, not the woman," which is an equally wonderful sentiment.
