CQ Loves: The New US GAP Commercial

It hasn't been an easy run for GAP lately, with a sales slump right across the board that not even a sell-out collection from Roland Mouret could boost, it seems that their advertising execs in the US have blown the budget (or what little remains of it) on an all-expenses spared, yet hilariously funny, new television commericial. Directed by Spike Jonze (Being John Malkovich), it's well worth a look

Thanks to The Budget Fashionista for the tip off!

Yeah, I remember seeing this ad a long time ago..

  • Susanelle in Canada

This ad is more than a couple of years old in North America, so it wasn't their last dollar they spent on it.

  • Well, I'm not too sure about this ad. I get it, but I'm not sure who it's targeting. The good thing about it, I guess, is that whether you were in the 20-something group who thought the Gap was "what my aunt wears" or you were in the 30-something group that thought the Gap was "what my niece wears," they are promising a Big Change (capital B, capital C) and a New Gap. We'll see if it helps!
