Brit Awards fashion
There were dresses galore at the Brits on Wednesday. New young things James Morrison and Amy Winehouse were joined by old hands Oasis and Take That in a glittering bash hosted by Russell 'I keep birds in my barnet' Brand. Lily Allen, wearing a pretty layered green satin number, lost out to Amy Winehouse for the 'British female solo artist' award and drowned her sorrows into the wee hours. Winehouse wore a variety of outfits, starting with a yellow minidress, then a stripy belted dress that suited her rockabilly look. She later changed into a sultry red frock to perform some songs.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor looked gorgeous in black dotted swiss number, but was without her husband, bassist in The Feeling. Scissor Sister's Ana Matronic looked glowing in a not too inspiring purple chiffon dress which she really made her own. Other stars in attendance included Fearne Cotton, looking very '60s in a white shift, Joss Stone who wore a short psychedelic mini, and Corrine Bailey Rae, who wore a ruffled red mini.
