Baftas: Queens of the Night
Even in London, they almost passed by unnoticed however last night's British Academy Film Awards (Bafta) did bring out some of the best... and worst in British fashion. Don't you just love an awards show?
Leading the charge was Sienna Miller who seemed to redeem herself from her recent granny pants episode. Wearing a patterned silver grey backless gown with small train, she definitely took London's freezing weather into account by avoiding a skimpy frock. I also quite like her simple swept up hair-do and dangly earrings.
Kate Winslet looked stunning (yet again) in Badgley Mischka. A simple but sweet hair do, she shouldn't feel too bad for losing out to Helen Mirren, who also (yet again) looked amazing.

Toni Collette looked very trim and tanned in a sparkly halter neck dress with fur wrap. Very sex bomb!
The Devil Wears Prada's Emily Blunt managed to pull off her unusual choice of dress.
Thandie Newton's gown reminded Gemma of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. For me, it just looked like a waste of decent fabric!
Penelope Cruz's black and white strapless number with fishtail hem definitely gets the thumbs up. Although it would have looked better with her hair swept back.
We may be confused as to why she was even there, but Sarah Harding definitely impressed in this bright purple floor length number. We're also loving the shorter do!
Definitely leading the "what were they thinking?" pack was Eva Green with super static hair and eyeliner overkill she looked like something that haunts children in their sleep. Scary!
Likewise, Emily Watson did nothing to help herself in this black widow creation and neither did Laura Bailey in a something reminiscent of a circus trapeze artist.
