I am a big fan of accessorising with well chosen accessories. You can dress up an outfit with strappy sandals and a clutch, but most of the time you will still need some beautiful jewellery to add a bit of something extra.
And necklaces are always a good investment piece, so spending a little more is usually justifiable if you will be wearing it for years to come. Viktoria Hayman’s gold chain wood pendant necklace (left) is $126 and is an updated look on the Y necklace that was very popular in the 90s. It would look great accessorising a simple black tunic from TopShop, after all with the right accessories who’s going to know it’s a top just anyone can by from TopShop?

Other pieces to try is the Rachel Reinhardt purple 'Royalty' multi strand drop necklace (middle) for $138. and the 'Royalty' circle cut stone necklace (right) priced at $143. Purple is such a flattering colour on many girls. Can you imagine how beautiful they would both look when you’re wearing a simple white dress in summer?
