Top Five: Anthropologie spring dresses
Oh no, here I am, drooling all over myself again (bet you're glad I told you that). I made the fatal mistake of checking out what Gorgeousness Heaven (otherwise known as Anthropologie), has to offer in the way of dresses for spring. While I wanted to share some with you in this top five, I had a really hard time choosing just a handful - they really do design so many fabulous, feminine things...
Top row, from left: 'Myrtle' dress in navy silk with brick-red colour-block details ($168). The fern pattern in muted colours makes a refreshing change to floral. Dove grey 'Gypsophila' has a lightly-boned bodice to help you stay in this strapless dress, and platinum silk trims the unusual stylised floral-printed organdy ($168). What a colour splash this 'Yuma' voile dress makes! Look closely using the zoom feature on the site to see the delicate pintuck detailing on the front ($148).
Bottom row, from left: this 'Losa' silk dress from Plenty by Tracy Reese has a gorgeous contrasting print banding the empire waist and hem that works beautifully with the amethyst floral background print. I'm not so sure about the nape tie (seen in the back view on the site), but it's a stunning dress nonetheless ($188).
This last dress is so sweet I really want it, even though it wouldn't suit me in a million years. Maybe I could just hang it on the wall as art and stroke it from time to time? Are we allowed to do that? It's the sweetly-named 'Drowsy' babydoll by Viola in raspberry voile with a cutout cream top layer and vintage-style empire-line bodice ($168).

I love them, but they'd never suit me. They'd balloon over my backside and make me look like a pack mule.
