Mouret lovers rejoice! For the King of the Galaxy dress is headed back to the runway. Following the formation of his company 19RM, which he created with Simon Fuller (founder of the Spice Girls and Pop Idol), Roland Mouret will return to the catwalk in July for the Paris couture shows. According to WWD, his new collection, entitled RM, will be based around his signature style of draping garments and will be around the same price bracket as Lanvin, Balenciaga and Chanel. His new designs will also be more high-end and tailored than his recent work, which included a capsule range for Gap. However, after his Gap venture failed to lift sales for the chain store, one can only speculate as to whether this new collection will do any better.
