Although Isaac Mizrahi's designs were popular during the 90s, these days he's perhaps best known for copping a feel of Scarlett Johansson at the Golden Globes. All that could be set to change, however, as the designer plots a comeback to the world of high fashion, opening a slew of boutiques in the States.
Mizrahi has a rather unique plan which he hopes will help make his new collections successful: combining very, very expensive clothes with very, very cheap ones. Interesting. "Doing very expensive and inexpensive clothes is the only modern way," he told Vogue. "Our dream is to have stores where $5 t-shirts can mix with $5000 semi-couture skirts."
