Spring coats are wonderful things. You get the structure of a coat to pull your outfit together, they keep you warm on chilly spring evenings, plus you don't have to tote something really heavy around with you when you're not wearing it. We've seen quite a few Peter Pan collars around over autumn and winter due to the 60s revival, but this gold satin-effect coat from Kirsty by Kirsty Doyle is firmly spring attire given its short sleeves. The bows on the cuffs take it from plain to very cute, and it's available from Additions Direct for £59.
You'll probably recognise Kirsty's name - she was the winner of the first series of Project Catwalk last year and her talent has clearly been recognised by high street retailers, resulting in her diffusion line, Kirsty by Kirsty Doyle.
