Stone081106_243x347_1_1 Once the dust has settled from the whirlwind that is London Fashion Week, a new fashion related exhibition will go on display at the National Portrait Gallery. Face of Fashion will be comprised of work by world renowned fashion photographers: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Corrine Day, Steven Klein, Paolo Roversi, and Mario Sorrenti. You may not recognise their names, but you would definitely recognise their work. Between these photographers, they have shot (with a camera, not a gun) some of the the biggest supermodels, celebrities and luxury brand ad campaigns.

Face of Fashion will focus on the relationship between photographer and model, and the incestuous relationship between fashion and celebrity. Being an exhibition about fashion photography, there will obviously be photographs of Kate Moss. However, there will also be photos of Uma Thurman, Drew Barrymore, Natalie Portman and Sharon Stone (pictured) just to name a few, to drive home the point of model-celebrity or is that celebrity model?...

The Exhibition will open its doors on the 15th February and entrance will cost £8.
