As if being in trouble with Ioan Gruffudd wasn't enough for Burberry, it seems the company could also be in trouble with the Queen if the controversial closure of their Welsh factory goes ahead. Chris Bryant, MP for Rhondda, where the factory is located, has written to the Lord Chancellor to demand that Burberry be stripped of its Royal Warrant if the factory closes. Given that Prince Charles is one of the many people who've spoken out against the proposed closure, I think he might just get his way, too.
Will the threat stop Burberry? Well, probably not: how many of us actually pay attention to things like Royal Warrants anyway, I wonder? (And, also: when did her Maj acquire a taste for Burberry?)
