Banana Republic comes to the UK
It's about time we started getting some of those great American fashion stores over here in the UK, and while Banana Republic probably wouldn't have been my first choice, it's a case of "the more the merrier" as far as I'm concerned.
Banana Republic is, of course, part of the group owned by The Gap, and with Gap not doing so well at the moment, this could be their way to try and win back British hearts. The first Banana Republic store will open on London's Regent Street in 2008, so we still have a long time to wait. In the meantime, there's always the Banana Republic website, for a taste of what's a-comin'...
