Dolce & Gabbana have already teamed up with Motorola to create a gold Razr, and Diane Von Furstenberg has customised a Sidekick, so I guess it was only a matter of time before other designers got in on the act with their own brand of fashionable electronics.
Prada are first off the blocks here, with an announcement this week that they're to partner with LG electronics to create what they claim will be both the most advanced and the most fashionable mobile phone on the planet. I can't wait - but I'll just have to, as it's not due for release until the middle of next year. Until then, our boring old non-designer phones will just have to do, I'm afraid.
