No, you're not seeing things: that headline really does say that the new 'face' of Marc Jacobs' fashion line is ... a 12 year old. Not just any 12 year old, of course: she's Dakota Fanning, star of War of the Worlds, Charlotte's Web, and just about every other film going that requires a child actress. And now she's the star of Marc Jacob's new advertising campaign for his Spring 2007 collection. Shot by Juergen Teller in Los Angeles, the pictures feature Dakota in a selection of specially-made child-size versions of Jacob's collection. I promise I'm not making this up.
