Celebrities fight to keep Burberry in Wales

Ever since Burberry announced plans to close their Welsh factory, with a loss of around 300 jobs, celebrities have been rallying to stop them, and keep Burberry British. Not only has actor Ioan Gruffudd, who, along with Kate Moss, is one of the "faces" of the brand, written to the company to ask them to reconsider their decision, this week Rhys Ifans and the Prince of Wales added their voices to the growing campaign.

"If Burberry does go ahead and close this factory; it will be a devastating blow to Rhondda valley communities," said Ifans. Burberry plan to move production to China, leaving only one UK factory producing their clothes.
