When a Coat Just Won't Do
Sometimes a coat just won't do. You may feel warm and snug in it, but what we don't realise is that it is totally swamping and overshadowing our outfits. A cardigan, on the other hand, just sometimes isn't enough. So how about these options to consider to help keep you warm(ish) and still work with your ensemble? Here are some of my high street picks (bar the Antik Batik Sequin Jacket, that was for pure indulgence).
VELVET - With a nod to the luxe and opulence trend, velvet can lend your outfit a richness and a touch of winter glamour.

SEQUIN - It's party time and that means we can get away with a lot more sparkle than usual, on shoes, bags and clothes (though probably not a good idea to be done all at the same time). Use sequins as a way of adding some glitz to your outfits. Sequins come in all colours, from full on bling to subtle shimmer, so there will be something for everyone.

TUXEDO- Always a classic and smart option that you can wear on it's own or as part of a suit, work that masculine trend.
