That Primark Dress Sells on eBay for £85

Primark_1

I know a lot of you were impressed with Primark's fab sequin mini dress when Gemma wrote about it last month, and even more impressed with the £18 price tag. For those of you despairing at the lack of a Primark store in your immediate vicinity though, fear not: that dress can now be yours - if you're willing to pay £85 for it on eBay, that is...

£85 too much? Well, how does £77 sound? (And bear in mind that people have actually bid it up to that price). Still too pricey? Well, if you're willing to take your chances, there's a whole page worth of that dress here for you to bid on - although I suspect you're probably going to pay a little more than £18 for it. So, tell me: would you pay that much more than the store price for a Primark dress, as lovely as it undoubtedly is? Or are these sellers just dreaming?

The real reason that dress was so hard to find, is cos they only sold it at Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and a couple of the London stores.

Oh please - no one holds a gun to anyones head and forces them to bid on a dress which everyone know cost less thatn £20 to buy in the first place. If someone has that cash spare and loves the dress, they will pay whatever they want for it - its totally ridiculous to moan about someone else turning up early and buying all the goods to resell - since when have true shoppers been lovey dovey with each other -

"Do you want the last pair of one off vintage boots reduced to £2? No, really it's ok, you have them, I'll just go to - er - George."

If you can't get hold of the dress, tough - its Primark not Chanel, no ones going to kill themselves trying to hold one for you - and if you don't like the inflated prices on Ebay don't bid! Don't even look infact!

I totally agree with the previous comments. I live near a Primark and often cannot find items that have been advertised no matter how often or when I look.

I especially "love" it when you seen a primark dress listed on ebay as an exclusive "vintage style" item. And I'm sat there thinking, hang on that's from primark. The only way to stop these idiots RIPPING everyone off on ebay is not to buy from them,it gives ebay a bad name.

£85? I did a search on completed listings for this dress and one went for £175! It's a joke and some sellers are selling at least 5. They're disgusting and completely taking the joy out of eBay and shopping. I phoned Nottingham everyday and have been rewarded as they got some in this morning and i went and bagged ONE for £18. That's ONE. For MYSELF. Get a life greedy bulk buyers!

i reckon 80 quid is way too high! You could get a 'proper' designer dress for that amount! As nice as the dress is - just think, if they have all been sold, everyone's going to be wearing the same dress this xmas! haha
