If you thought Sienna Miller was destined to be famous for nothing more than making a few movies, breaking up with Jude Law -repeatedly - and insulting the people of Pittsburgh, think again! Sienna has, in fact, been beavering away putting together the first collection for Twenty8Twelve, the fashion label she's setting up with sister Savannah.
The collection, which will launch next Autumn, is a joint effort between Sienna and Savannah, but while Sienna is best known for wearing clothes, Savannah at least has some design credentials under her belt: she's a graduate of London's St. Martins college and has designed for several labels, including a collection this year with Shanghai Tan.
If you're thinking this is Sienna's first step towards becoming a fashion brand, though, fear not. "I'm not about to become a brand," she told Vogue. "I won't be releasing an album, perfume and knickers next year." Phew.
Twenty8Twelve (its named after Sienna's birthday) is being part-financed by Carlos Ortega, whose Pepe Jeans label recently employed Sienna as its "face". The first collection is inspired by "Dickensian London, Patti Smith and Beat poetry", and no, that's not a sneak preview in the photo - it's Sienna on set as Andy Warhol's muse, Edie Sedgwick, in her new movie, Factory Girl.
