Proenza Schouler for Target

I've suspected for some time now that Target was sent to torture me, but this sneak preview of their latest designer diffusion line seems to confirm it. I mean, look at the coat! These items are all by Proenza Schouler and are the latest additions to the Go International line - which, need I add, is completely inaccessible to those of us in the UK.  (Well, it would be were it not for the Shopping Swap section of the Shiny Fashion Forums, that is.)  These are due to hit the stores any time soon, so credit cards at the ready...

I went to target earlier this week after you posted that dress - also to pick up some odds and ends like cotton balls, tampons, house cleaners - i mosied my way to the clothing section to look at the dress you had posted and it looked TERRIBLE. The stitching, the fabric used for the middle black part, the bow fabric. It was all wrong. You can even see the hem line stitching. It was so tacky :-( i was looking forward to seeing it IRL... i guess it would be OK if you dont mind cheaper looking clothing.

You have H&M in the UK, we have Target aplenty here in Austin Texas. My daughter and I hunt down what we need in the GO collections with impunity--we don't have H&M in Austin so I HAD to bid on the Viktor & Rolf black dress w/ heart shaped belt and I WON!--but not after trying to persuade them to send it to me mail order from New York to which I was told NNNNO. So buck up there in the UK--I would not bid on anything from ebay unless I just HAD to have it, check the shippng/handling and tax BEFORE you bid--and of course the price is good to your satisfaction. Don't bid till the very last seconds of the auction and you may be able to score some of the coveted Target GO designs that way-e-mail ME--maybe we could SWAP! Is that legal?
