British Vogue, the UK edition of fashion's most seminal magazine
has reached the grand old age of 90 this week. Their December issue will be a celebration of fashion and Vogue's influential history with a four-page gatefold cover featuring 90 different covers from the magazine. Inside, the magazine will feature shoots by David Bailey, who pairs fashion faces past and present in a black and white spread, and Mario Testino who is photographing amongst others, Nigella Lawson and Gordon Ramsay in a food fight! The party is going to be a red-carpet affair at the beautiful Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park. Between the BFC awards and Vogue's 90th birthday bash I'm pretty sure that London's fashion elite have been spending these last two weeks at hair and beauty salons blowdrying, polishing and moisturising. What a hard life! I'm personally holding out for an invitation to the centenary gala in ten years...
