Giles Deacon to Collaborate With New Look

In what must qualify as the best news of the week so far (yes, I know it's still only Monday. It's been a long day...) Susie over at at Style Bubble reports that British Designer of the Year, Giles Deacon, is to join forces with my own personal shoe nirvana, New Look, to create a capsule collection. Known only as "Gold", the line will consist of jackets, shoes, dresses and accessories, all featuring Deacon's signature prints. Looks like the "designer collaborating with cheap store" trend is here to stay then. And that's just fine by me...
