Fashionable Christmas trees from Net-a-Porter, Jimmy Choo and Harrods

Pentreenews Have you started planning that perfect Christmas party outfit yet, or worked out what you'll be wearing on Christmas day? Well, here's something else for you to worry about: your outfit may be right up to the minute, but what about your Christmas tree? Oh yes, Christmas trees can be fashionable too, you know - well, they can when they're designed by the likes of Jimmy Choo, Net-a-Porter and Harrods...

The three brands (along with a host of others) have joined forces with Save the Children to donate designer Christmas trees to the charity's annual Festival of Trees. The trees - accompanied by a range of luxury gifts also donated by the brands - will be auctioned off on December 5th, and are anything but ordinary. Harrods, for example, have donated a fairytale castle advent calendar, and Net-a-Porter's "tree" is a tree in name only - it's this  portrait of 60s model Penelope Tree (do you see what they did there?) by artist Lisolette Watkins.
