If you grew up the UK and you were into fashion as much as you are now chances are you were a fan of the Clothes Show. For the uninitiated The Clothes Show had the Pet Shop Boys "Opportunity (Lets Make Lots Of Money)" as an unforgettable theme tune and featured presenters Jeff Banks, the lovely Caryn Franklin, and Caryn Franklin's Grey Streak. It was great to settle down on a Sunday and learn all about the latest styles in a slightly fusty BBC manner. The programme is back on our screens on UKTV Style with Caryn Franklin and Louise Redknapp but if you want a real-life fix and you live 'Oop North' (well, the Midlands!) Clothes Show Live is coming to Birmingham NEC on the 1-6th December. Billed as the 'world's largest and most entertaining fashion and beauty event' it sounds perfect for a lovely pre-Christmas day out with your mum.
