Sales Down as Sun Shines

Dress_3
I don't know if its sunny round your way, but I hung my washing up outside today! The stuffy warm weather we've been having feels more like we're in Asia than the UK. Which is bad news for shops, who have suffered a slump in their A/W collections. M+S, Next, Monsoon and New Look are some of the stores said to have been hit by the unseasonally warm weather. Grey has been partly blamed for poor sales saying women aren't attracted to the drab colour. Pah! Grey is just the colour for my sallow olive skin, and with a heap o' blusher I look much better than in black. Pictured above is a grey dress from Topshop, have you been staying away from grey? To tell you the truth, I'm in a t-shirt right now and I'm pretty toasty, but I can't wait to crack open the woolly tights!

Meh, never been the biggest fan of grey, I'm not going to start wearing it just because it's in fashion. Same can be said about mustard. MUSTARD. Eurgh.

There was a dress a girl in Pret was wearing the other day... it's like a shift dress in the same material as above which buttoned under the bust. Want.

I don't mind wearing grey sometimes, just not most of the time.
And I don't know what you mean about this warm weather - was raining continuously yesterday, and it's been cold here today!

Love the dress but not a big fan of gray unless you spice it up with something of a bright color. Reminds me of sweaty gym clothes for men. The weather is sunny and a mild 72 degrees in California. But now that it's officially fall, had to break-out the ankle boots. Bring on the rain!

I LOVE grey. I think it's a good way to dress classy yet not so dramatically as black.

I love grey and have worn it every winter for years whether it's been 'in' or not. It's a smart alternative to black for work and I have a wool polo neck that I love but yes, it's been a bit warm for those here too.

I really like grey trousers, but can't wear grey near my face as I'm very pale and blonde and I just look washed out unless I accessorise with a bright scarf or necklace.

I really love grey, it looks good on olive skins and as I didn't have to wear school uniform at school it helps me channel my inner schoolgirl! (not in a pervy way btw!)
