I guess the one positive thing about the end of the fashion week season is that it will hopefully mean a temporary halt to the whole "size zero debate" - until next time, at least. Just before the fat (sorry, thin) lady sings, though, Roland Mouret has taken time out from his busy schedule of designing for Gap to quickly lambast the world's media for their treatment of model Lily Cole (pictured above at the Gaultier show), whose life, says Mouret, has been "made hell" by the whole thing.
"Every newspaper should print an apology to that young girl, because they have made her life hell," he said. "They’re saying, basically, she is responsible for eating disorders.” Go, Roland! Well, we stuck up for you Lily, and I for one think you look fantastic. But Lily? We really need to talk about the "hair hat" ...
