Now, we all know that Jean Paul Gaultier can work magic with a few bits of fabric and a conical bra or two, but who knew he could do actual magic? He can, you know - and he proved it at the party to celebrate his brand's 30th birthday, by levitating French fashion editor Virginie Mouzat of Le Figaro. Later in the show, at the Olympia Theatre in Paris, Gaultier locked Grace Coddington, creative director of American Vogue, inside a cage, draped a velvet curtain over the top, and then whisked it away to reveal that he'd somehow managed to turn Grace into none other than model Lily Cole. I have to admit, I've never been much of a fan of magic tricks, but there's a trick worth learning, no?
