If you live near London pop down to Borough Market on 21st of October. Borough market is celebrating its 250th anniversary and through-and-through Brit Designer Paul Smith will be giving away drinks, organic juices, flapjacks and brownies outside his shop. The market is travelling back in time to resemble the market in 1756, attractions include duels, music, dances and recitals of eating, drinking and whoring (!) songs. There are also celebrity chefs in the stocks, a £150 Borough Market voucher for the best child’s costume seen in the Market on the day and an ‘18th century Birthday Banquet’ in the newly refurbished Jubilee Market. Get there between 11am and 4.30pm to get in on the action, sounds like a brilliant day, I just wish Smith was giving some of his clothes away too!
