After quite a few bland or at least basic shows at Milan and Paris fashion week, its nice to see someone who can do wearable yet original clothing without resorting to gynaelogical displays! Sophia Kokosalaki's trademark soft draping silhouettes were still in evidence at today's show but were matched with subtle 80's inspired tailoring. Her Grecian roots were very much in evidence in the discreet gladiator shoes, and tight pleats.
Very little of what is deemed to be in fashion surfaced at the Greek designer's show,  showing true talent and originality. Where other designers resort to attention-grabbing tactics, her chiffons and deconstructed safari-wear assuredly whispered confidence and glamour.
