Well, according to The Sunday Times, they most certainly are. They've just published the first part of their "Power 50" - a list of those celebs who "wield real power in Britain as style icons and commercial faces." Judged by a "panel of experts", and based on stats such as the number of magazine covers the celebs have achieved and number of Google mentions they get, these are the people we've apparently all been holding up as style icons lately.
