Vogue's Anna Wintour (seen here terrorising some unfortunate catwalk models) has been named US Magazine Editor of the Year by the American Magazine Publishers’ Association. Now, I could be uncharitable here and say that they were probably too scared not to choose Anna (it's no secret that she was the inspiration for Meryl Streep's "boss from hell" character in The Devil Wears Prada) but there's no doubt that she's been doing good things at Vogue, where sales increased by 3.5% this year despite a general slump in the industry.
Enough of the boring figures, though. I wonder how she can see when she wears those dark glasses indoors all the time?
